Introduction

DRYVA ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the DRYVA mobile application and this website.

Information We Collect

• Device & Usage: app version, device model, basic diagnostics (no advertising IDs)
• Location (optional): only when you enable location features (e.g., nearby fuel stations). You can disable this in system settings at any time.
• Images & Documents: when you upload (e.g., licence, insurance) strictly to power those features
• Third‑Party Data: weather, mapping, MOT or fuel data retrieved to provide features

How We Use Information

• Provide core features (fuel, car wash planner, documents, parking, etc.)
• Improve performance, reliability, and user experience
• Support safety and compliance communications

Data Storage & Access

Your data stays on your device. We design DRYVA to process and store user content locally whenever possible. We do not run a central database of your personal content and we do not have access to documents you scan, images you upload, or your MOT results on our servers.

• Local‑first: documents, scans, and preferences are stored on your device.
• No selling: we do not sell your personal data.
• No ad tracking: we do not use advertising identifiers or cross‑app tracking.

Location

Location access is optional and used solely to show nearby fuel stations or map context. The app works without granting location. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings.

Chat & AI

When you use the Chat feature, requests are proxied through our server to the AI provider to keep the provider key out of the app and to enforce fair‑use limits. We:

• Do not store your chat content on our servers for profiling or advertising.
• Use a hashed device identifier only to apply daily rate limits (not linked to your identity and not used for tracking).
• Trim/summarize chat history on device to minimize data sent per request.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Limited data may be shared with service providers (e.g., weather, maps, AI) only as needed to deliver a requested feature. We may disclose information if required by law.

Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary for the features you use. Most content is stored locally and under your control. You can delete app data from Settings → Clear All Data or by deleting the app. For any server‑side items (e.g., waitlist email), contact us to request deletion.
